By booking a service with Northlight Photography, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below, as well as the policies listed on our website.

 

Services

Northlight Photography provides photography and commercial drone services. Service details, deliverables, and timelines vary depending on the service booked and will be outlined in your booking confirmation, invoice, or service agreement.

 

Booking & Payment

Services are not considered booked until payment or a retainer has been received. All pricing, deliverables, and timelines will be outlined prior to the service date.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are subject to the policies outlined on the Policies page of this website.

 

Delivery of Images & Media

Delivered images and media are provided in digital format unless otherwise specified. Delivery timelines vary depending on the service booked. Northlight Photography is not required to deliver every image taken and will select and edit images at its professional discretion.

 

Copyright & Image Use

Northlight Photography retains copyright ownership of all images and media created. Clients are granted personal-use printing rights for delivered images.

Images may not be edited, altered, filtered, or modified without written permission.

Commercial use, reproduction, publication, or sale of images requires written permission and may be subject to licensing fees.

Northlight Photography may use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

Drone Services

All drone services are conducted in accordance with Transport Canada regulations. Some services may be limited or rescheduled due to weather, airspace restrictions, safety concerns, or other regulatory requirements.

Clients are responsible for obtaining permission for drone flights over private property if required.

 

Limitation of Liability

Northlight Photography is not responsible for:

• weather conditions

• location restrictions

• interference from guests or members of the public

• poor cooperation from subjects

• delays caused by venues, events, or schedules

• missed moments due to circumstances beyond control

• equipment failure, illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances

In the unlikely event that services cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to a refund of payments made.

 

Website Use

All content on this website, including images, text, branding, and logos, is the property of Northlight Photography and may not be copied, downloaded, or used without written permission.

 

Changes to Terms & Conditions

Northlight Photography reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
