Cancellation Policy

Payment is required at the time of booking for photography sessions to reserve your date and time. Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received. Weddings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date or on-call period, with the remaining balance due 14 days before service date or as outlined in your service agreement or quote. Newborn photography packages must be used within 1 year of the purchase date. Workplace photography packages include a set number of staff, and additional staff must be booked as an add-on in advance, as we do not photograph beyond the package limit without prior arrangement. All bookings and deposits are non-refundable. Photography sessions are permitted one reschedule with at least 48 hours notice; additional rescheduling may require a new booking. Workplace and commercial bookings require a minimum of 72 hours notice to reschedule. If an event date changes, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions at no additional cost. Sessions and services begin at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals or unreadiness may result in reduced session time and fewer delivered images. Full session fees still apply. Services must take place within the service area. Locations outside the service area require written approval and may be subject to travel fees. Bookings outside the service area without approval from thenorthlightphotography@gmail.com may be cancelled without refund. Images are delivered through a private online gallery. Typical delivery timelines are 2–3 weeks for sessions and events, 4–6 weeks for weddings and birth photography, and timelines vary for workplace and drone projects based on project size. Each 60 minutes of extended coverage includes 10-20 images Northlight Photography retains copyright of all images. Clients receive personal-use printing rights. Images may not be altered or used commercially without written permission. Images may be used for portfolio or marketing unless otherwise agreed in writing. Northlight Photography is not responsible for weather, location restrictions, guest interference, subject cooperation, delays, missed moments, equipment failure, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. Liability is limited to a refund of payments made if services cannot be delivered. Booking a service indicates that you have read, understood, and agree to these policies.
